Growing Chinotto

To grow in pots you will need to follow specific guidelines: you must use a porous soil and there must be sufficient draining as it doesn’t like to sit in water. Remember never to use a saucer under the pot. The plant must be protected from rigid temperatures, remember to put it away in the winter, making sure though that it has plenty of light. It doesn’t need a lot of water: in winter it must be watered about every 10 days, whilst in the summer it can’t go more than 3 days. When spring arrives fertilize the soil to make the roots stronger and more resistant, preparing it for the hot weather. The flowers are a beautiful white color, while the fruit is orange.
